From Family Roots to the “Wright” Choice: An Event Decor Rental Company

Every great business starts with a problem that needs solving. For us, that problem was personal.

Before Wright Choice Rentals was a reality, Tiffany—my sister-in-law and the creative heart of our team—was an event planner in Birmingham. She saw a recurring struggle: there was a massive gap between the basic items a venue provided and the expensive, full-service "turn-key" productions. Customers were left scrambling to bridge that gap themselves, often sacrificing their own peace of mind to get the details just right.

Tiffany began hand-selecting pieces to help those clients, and soon, a business was born. But as any small business owner knows, success brings its own challenges. Between their full-time nonprofit work and late-night paperwork, Tiffany and her husband, Blake, were working every weekend. The passion was there, but the "back office" was a mountain to climb.

That’s where I came in. After 13 years in the IT industry, I live for logistics, planning, and making sure the executions are flawless. But I also had a personal "why." After helping with both of my sisters' weddings, I realized that when a family spends the whole day decorating, they miss out on the joy of the celebration.

I didn't just want to buy a company; I wanted to preserve the magic Tiffany and Blake had created. We decided to join forces as a family. Today, Wright Choice Rentals is a true family affair—run by me, my wife and daughter, and Tiffany and Blake.

With a background in professional planning and a maiden name that gave us our punny title, Tiffany is the "eye" of the operation. She’s obsessed with the perfect centerpiece—that one focal point that pulls the whole room together. If your table looks like a work of art, Tiffany is likely the one who dreamt it up.

The Hands Behind the Details

Whether it’s my wife and daughter or Blake, we are a family-first team. On any given weekend, you’ll find us together, setting linens and placing decor with the same care we’d use for our own family celebrations.
